Mae Rumphueng
Beach

is a white sandy beach on the
mainland and the longest beach
on the eastern side of Rayong.
The beach is slightly inclined and is situated in Khao Laem Ya-Koh Samet national park. 12 kilometers of sandy beach has made it an ideal place for holiday making.

Phra Chedi
Klang Nam

"Phra Chedi Klang Nam is a pagoda erected at the centre of the islet on the Rayong River, about 2 kilometres from town. Sailors once used it as the sign of arriving Rayong Province. An annual celebration is held during November, featuring an exciting boat and Loy Krathong Festival.

Ban Kon Ao
Fisherman’s Village

This charming seaside village is located at the one end of Mae Ram Pheung beach. It provides one of the best chances to witness traditional fishing life along the Gulf of Thailand.

the King Taksin Shrine is
located at Wat Lum Mahachai Chumphon, on Taksin Road.

The City
Pillar Shrine

This is a Chinese-style pavilion
on Lak Muang Road,
which townspeople pay respect.
Every year on Song Kran Festival
period, celebration is held here.
The original pavilion was made
from wood, but later was
restored by using mortar.

Khao
Laem Ya

A little further from Ban Kon Ao
on the beach road to Khao Laem Ya
and Mu Ko Samet National Park
covered with small shrubs
and with a cape jutting into the sea.

Khao Chamao
Khao Wong Waterfall

This waterfall is located near
the park headquarters.
It is a large waterfall spread with
many levels along a stretch of 3kms.
The water is clear, making it easy
to spot all the fish in the pools.

Ban
Phe

A turn at between Km. 231 and
Km. 238 leads to Ban Phe which is
about 19 kilometres from
the township. A Major fishing
community of the province, it is also
the main embarkation point
for ferry to Ko Samet.
